This book was nothing like the first which is one of the best books I have ever read. In this book the main character, Feyre, goes from loving Tamlin to leaving him, and then hating his guts because he is a horrible, despicable person. Really?? All of this without even a conversation? I lost touch with the characters as they transformed completely. Everything I loved about them was turned into a nightmare, and I simply could not get on board with where the author was taking me. There were some really wonderful parts, but when she sold out Tamlin as evil, I just couldn’t follow along.

I think this is the best book out of the series. The characters are wonderful, the plot is interesting and doesn’t drag, and the writing is beautiful. I’ve read it so many times and I absolutely love Rhys and Feyra. Even if you aren’t a fan of the first book, I highly recommend this one.

In this sequel, you find yourself drawing your own opinion about characters and rooting for or against them. While some of the characters are one dimensional and petty, there are plenty more that I can remember fondly. While no character alone is an absolute favorite, together they really make an amazing story. The romance in the book is a really nice slow-burn, and if you’re looks for that this is as good as it gets. That is probably the strongest aspect of the book, but you can still enjoy if even if you aren’t a romance fan. If you enjoyed book 1 even a little bit you should definitely read this. If you felt it was lacking, I would still consider this book. You learn more about Rhysand and Lucien, two of my favorite characters, and Feyre really delves into what she wants for herself. In my opinion, this is the best book in the series.

Okay wow. I love this series. At first I was a little on the fence about reading the series because of the Goodreads reviews, but I’m glad I decided to go for it. The first book is really good, setting up the story and following the journey of Feyre and Tamlin, the relationship kind of mirroring that of Beauty and the Beast. But no, it’s more than that. Feyre broke the curse around Tamlin, but by doing that she just released the inner beast of who he really is. And now in this book she makes him pay for it. This book and the third are my favorite, but this book is a little closer to my heart for the relationship she builds that ends up saving her from herself. SJM did a good job at balancing the story with action, humor, and love. Oh the love.

I think this is the best book out of the series. The characters are wonderful, the plot is interesting and doesn’t drag, and the writing is beautiful. I’ve read it so many times and I absolutely love Rhys and Feyra. Even if you aren’t a fan of the first book, I highly recommend this one.

Best Book in the Series

In this sequel, you find yourself drawing your own opinion about characters and rooting for or against them. While some of the characters are one dimensional and petty, there are plenty more that I can remember fondly. While no character alone is an absolute favorite, together they really make an amazing story. The romance in the book is a really nice slow-burn, and if you’re looks for that this is as good as it gets. That is probably the strongest aspect of the book, but you can still enjoy if even if you aren’t a romance fan. If you enjoyed book 1 even a little bit you should definitely read this. If you felt it was lacking, I would still consider this book. You learn more about Rhysand and Lucien, two of my favorite characters, and Feyre really delves into what she wants for herself. In my opinion, this is the best book in the series.

Okay wow. I love this series. At first I was a little on the fence about reading the series because of the Goodreads reviews, but I’m glad I decided to go for it. The first book is really good, setting up the story and following the journey of Feyre and Tamlin, the relationship kind of mirroring that of Beauty and the Beast. But no, it’s more than that. Feyre broke the curse around Tamlin, but by doing that she just released the inner beast of who he really is. And now in this book she makes him pay for it. This book and the third are my favorite, but this book is a little closer to my heart for the relationship she builds that ends up saving her from herself. SJM did a good job at balancing the story with action, humor, and love. Oh the love.

This book was nothing like the first which is one of the best books I have ever read. In this book the main character, Feyre, goes from loving Tamlin to leaving him, and then hating his guts because he is a horrible, despicable person. Really?? All of this without even a conversation? I lost touch with the characters as they transformed completely. Everything I loved about them was turned into a nightmare, and I simply could not get on board with where the author was taking me. There were some really wonderful parts, but when she sold out Tamlin as evil, I just couldn’t follow along.

One of my favorite books

I think this is the best book out of the series. The characters are wonderful, the plot is interesting and doesn’t drag, and the writing is beautiful. I’ve read it so many times and I absolutely love Rhys and Feyra. Even if you aren’t a fan of the first book, I highly recommend this one.

In this sequel, you find yourself drawing your own opinion about characters and rooting for or against them. While some of the characters are one dimensional and petty, there are plenty more that I can remember fondly. While no character alone is an absolute favorite, together they really make an amazing story. The romance in the book is a really nice slow-burn, and if you’re looks for that this is as good as it gets. That is probably the strongest aspect of the book, but you can still enjoy if even if you aren’t a romance fan. If you enjoyed book 1 even a little bit you should definitely read this. If you felt it was lacking, I would still consider this book. You learn more about Rhysand and Lucien, two of my favorite characters, and Feyre really delves into what she wants for herself. In my opinion, this is the best book in the series.

The first book is really good, setting up the story and following the journey of Feyre and Tamlin, the relationship kind of mirroring that of Beauty and the Beast. But no, it’s more than that. Feyre broke the curse around Tamlin, but by doing that she just released the inner beast of who he really is. And now in this book she makes him pay for it. This book and the third are my favorite, but this book is a little closer to my heart for the relationship she builds that ends up saving her from herself. SJM did a good job at balancing the story with action, humor, and love. Oh the love.

This book was nothing like the first which is one of the best books I have ever read. In this book the main character, Feyre, goes from loving Tamlin to leaving him, and then hating his guts because he is a horrible, despicable person. Really?? All of this without even a conversation? I lost touch with the characters as they transformed completely. Everything I loved about them was turned into a nightmare, and I simply could not get on board with where the author was taking me. There were some really wonderful parts, but when she sold out Tamlin as evil, I just couldn’t follow along.
